LAIKA - 60th anniversary (and 10th for the book)

Sixty years ago today, on November 3rd 1957, the Soviet Union launched into orbit Earth's first space traveller. Her name was Laika, although she'd been known previously by the name Kudryavka. If you want to find out more about her, I wrote and drew a book telling her story, and those of some of the humans around her. It's also the tenth anniversary of this graphic novel, which I can hardly believe. It's available from all good bookstores and all the usual online sellers.

Here's one of the "alternative endings" I drew a few years later (which you can find in the Square Fish edition of the book).
