Doctor Who: 10th Doctor #3.8 Sneak Peek

A really incredibly nice part of writing Doctor Who comics is that I get to work with artists like Giorgia Sposito and receive new Doctor Who art in my inbox practically every day. Here's a couple of panels from a forthcoming issue of the Tenth Doctor Adventures that we're working on - #3.8. The way Giorgia's drawn David Tennant as the Doctor here kills me. She draws him in a way that only Giorgia could - it's uniquely her take - and somehow she captures that deep, lonely undercurrent that Tennant gave the character onscreen. Comic artists give a performance too, especially in tie-in comics, but this is a skill not many people talk about - the ability to emote, to act via the characters you draw.
